4th of July

We spent 4th of July weekend in Wintergreen, VA with the Edges and Deterdings. We had such a fun weekend. Lots of laughs and fun times with great friends!

James is now sitting up on his own...well, for the most part! He manages to get his balance and play with a toy for a while, but at times still finds himself tumbling over.

6 months!

On June 10th James turned 6 months old! We can't believe how quickly time has flown. We couldn't be having more fun with our little guy. He's now eating solids, sitting up, and constantly making us smile and laugh.

In May (yes, my parents have been a little lazy about updating the blog), I tried solids for the first time and it came as no surprise that I LOVE them! I'm a big fan of pears, sweet potatoes and bananas, and i'll tolerate peas.

Baptism

On May 17th James was baptized at St. James's Episcopal Church. It was a great weekend and we were very fortunate that so many family members came to celebrate this special occasion.
